Busy Weekend at the Branches!

Last weekend was the Toronto Branch Knockout, this past Saturday was the turn of the Ottawa Branch and the Niagara-Hamilton Branch – and they did not disappoint!

Saturday night was another successful round of the Ottawa Branch Knockouts!

The branch would like to thank all of the competitors and those who came out to show their support and also the judges for their dedicated time and expert knowledge. Thanks also to all the volunteers and the branch executive - without their support none of this would be possible!

The evening began with the drumming contest featuring a Snare C and Snare B division. The second part of the evening featured the Piping C division and the evening finished off with the Piping B division.

The next knockout event is March 1st at the Junior Ranks Mess, 4 Queen Elizabeth Driveway, Ottawa.

Ottawa Branch Knockout Winners

Niagara-Hamilton Branch

The Niagara-Hamilton Branch held their first amateur night of the year and enjoyed a great night with 17 drummers and 32 pipers competing. Great job by the branch executive running another fun night at the James Street armouries in Hamilton.  It was great to see so many young players out enjoying themselves.

Next amateur night is scheduled for February 22nd so get your entry in if you want to play.
