I am a PDQB (Piping and Drumming Qualifications Board, Scotland) certified bagpipe tutor.

I have played bagpipes for 25 years, have competed individually and with bands, played many solo and band gigs and recorded 4 albums.

I play GHBs, SSPs, SBPs.

I regularly have a roster of about 20 students and have taught music for 45 years, bagpipes for 10 years.

I am classically trained on trumpet and am currently studying with the world renowned jazz trumpeter Bobby Shew.

I have composed, toured, recorded jazz, rock and Celtic music (including on bagpipes) with Fiùran, and award winning Celtic rock band.

Specific to bagpipes, I have attended seminars, studied on-line and in small groups with Craig Munro, Andrew Douglas, Rab Mathieson, Calum Beaumont, Bruce Gandy and others.

I have studied privately with Beth Bisaillion and Bruce Campbell (Pìobaireachd).
